We also feature classic Americana, recognizing how deeply the two are connected. Engaging community-focused events, including historical open mic storytelling, are a staple here. History and empathy cultivate how we function. These words are made manifest by the care and effort we put into preserving history. We believe it is important to protect the remnants of our existence. These so-called things are echoes of who we were and reflections of who we are today.
Whimsy House in Fitzgerald, GA is a nonprofit museum dedicated to preserving and sharing Black memorabilia, American memorabilia, and an array of historical items.
